Conference: “Le migrazioni nel Mediterraneo”

On next May 3rd 2023, the UNIOR research team will hold a conference on the topic of migration in the
Mediterranean Sea. During the meeting, legal scholars together with lawyers and NGOs
representatives, will discuss the subject from different perspectives.

In particular, the conference will deal with the issue of the “memorandum of understanding” between Italy and Lybia, search and rescue operations in the Mediterranean Sea, the fundamental rights of migrants at the EU external borders, and the criminalization of solidarity.
